Create your screen name, download Pidgin 2.13.0, and connect to our community AIM server.
1. Create an account
2. Install and configure Pidgin
- Download Pidgin 2.13.0Official SourceForge release page for Windows.
- Install Pidgin, then choose Accounts → Manage Accounts → Add.
- Select the AIM protocol and enter your new screen name and password.
- Open Advanced and use these settings:Server: 142.44.162.98
Port: 5190
Security: Don't use encryption
Authentication: MD5-based - Leave the proxy option off, save the account, and sign in.
Important: Do not select clientLogin. AOL's original login service is offline; this server authenticates directly through OSCAR.
